Jonah tells a story to the sailors

Jonah, fearing the responsibility given to him by God takes flight to the high seas. As the voyage takes off, God sends along a storm to plague the boat and its travelers. “Throw him overboard!” the sailors shout. “Throw him over and maybe his God will stop being so angry, and spare us!”. But before they could grab him, Jonah pleads his story to the sailors, in hops they will spare throwing him overboard.
As we all know from the story, they do not.
